Man's intellect cannot understand spiritual truths until his consciousness penetrates the realm of spiritual Light. It is a truth that most scientists will not understand. It is impossible for them to rise to a higher condition than the intellectual spheres they have created, and they consider that all that lies outside of these spheres is only deceptive fantasies and dreams.
As a result, their understanding is obscured, and passions reside in their hearts, they are not allowed to contemplate the Light of truth. He whose judgment is determined by what he perceives with his external senses cannot grasp spiritual truths. A man dominated by his senses clings to his own ego, which is an illusion and certainly detests the truth because knowledge of the truth discredits his personality.
The natural instinct of the lower half of man pushes him to consider himself as an isolated being distinct from the universal God. Knowledge of the truth destroys this illusion and that is why the man of reason detests the truth.
The man imbued with spirituality is a son of the Light. The regeneration of man and his return to his first condition of perfection. In which our whole system dominated, they depend on the destruction or suppression of everything that can eclipse or veil the natural inner Light.
Man is a fire concentrated inside a coarse pod of matter. And it is his destiny to dissolve the matter and the coarse parts of his being in this fire and to join again with the central flame. During his life on Earth, he is somewhat similar to the lightning that flows from the flint rubbed on steel.
If man's consciousness and activity are always concentrated on external things, the Light that shines from the divine spark to our heart weakens more and more and finally disappears. But if the inner fire is retained and nourished, it destroys coarse elements, attracts other principles and makes a man even more imbued with spirituality by giving him divine power.
It not only changes the condition of the soul but also increases its receptivity to pure divine influences and ennobles the entire constitution of man until he has become a true Lord of Creation.
