All that exists is the fruit of the activity of the Spirit. Most sublime of all sciences, the Spirit to matter is the one from which man learns to perceive the link that unites spiritual intelligence with corporeal forms. There are no distinct periods, the currents between the extremes are explained in all possible shades.
God is the fire, the Force that emits the purest Light. This Light is the life and degrees that exist between the Lights and the darkness and is discovered beyond human conception. The closer we get to the center of Light, the bigger the strength we receive and He gets more power and activity. The test of a man is to rise towards this spiritual center of Light.
Primitive man was the son of this Light. He was in a condition of spiritual perfection, immensely higher than in his present condition. In which it descended to the bottom of the matter, taking a dense and corporeal form. To regain his elevation he must first return to the path, the same where he came down.
Every living thing in this world gets its life and activity from the power of the Spirit. The rough elements are regulated by other more subtle elements, and these at their top by others even more subtle, until a purely spiritual and divine force is reached, that is how God inspires everything.
In man, there is a germ of divine power, a germ which, by opening itself, can transform itself into a tree bearing wonderful fruits. But this germ can evolve only under the stimulating influence of heat, which shines from the central flame of the great Spiritual Sun.
At the center, the supreme and original cause of the active forces Light and life shine continuously spread. Through the forms that their eternal activity has produced and these forms return uninterrupted where everything is activity.
The man who leaves the radiant sphere of Light has made himself unable to contemplate the thought, will, and activity of the infinite in their unity. And now he can only see the image of God in a multiplicity of different images. So this man contemplates God through an almost infinite number of aspects, but God remains One.
He will sink more than he tries to rise to greater spiritual heights, more deeply in sensuality and will have increased difficulties in returning to his initial condition.
During our lives on Earth, we find ourselves surrounded by dangers and with very little force to prohibit us. Our material bodies keep us chained to the realm of the senses and a million temptations throw themselves upon us every day. Without the reaction of the Spirit, the animal principle in man would quickly drag him into the mud of sensuality or his humanity would disappear forever.
However, this sensual contact is necessary for man, since it provides him with the strength without which he would be unable to get up. It is the power of will that allows man to rise. For this reason, the will has been brought to such a state of purity, which makes it all with the will of God.
This can during life on Earth understand in its unity the kingdom of the Spirit, our Spirit. Such a man succeeds in everything because in union with the universal God. All the powers of Nature become his powers, and in him, the harmony and unity of the whole are manifested.
Direct all your strength to nourish and stretch the plant of virtue, which flourishes in your heart. To help its blossoming, purify your will and not allow the illusions of the senses and time to tempt you and mislead you. With each step you take on the road that leads to eternal life, you will find a purer air and a new life and a clearer Light and at the same time you ascend towards the peaks, the expansion of your mental horizon will grow.
